Right, let’s keep this light, shall we? My name is Gary Noden and I am a 3D guy who works in the Northwest of England, not too far away from Manchester and, more importantly, MediaCityUK.

I’ve been around the block a bit, but I manage to keep myself busy doing 3D and 2D animation, a lot for Corporate clients, some Broadcast stuff and recently I restarted teaching at Salford University. I teach Film and Narrative Studies mostly, but I began there teaching 3D stuff, doing talks the the Students about life outside in the Real World (gulp, not the Real World?!) and generally terrifying them bout what a job is..you have to get up early…Early?! No way!?!

Yep, real world stuff.

I also have a YouTube Channel called GENVFX where I teach mostly Blender, but also Fusion, Resolve, affinity now too, you know, the free stuff, so that people can get a handle into the industry without having to go to University first. It’s not a certainty, going to Uni. And it is very expensive.

I also do a podcast called The Graphters’ Podcast all about the VFX, Animation and Games Industries in the UK and the Edication system trying it’s best to support the kids coming out of Uni and trying to get work. It’s a long, long job, that one.
